On our first day in Portland we visited the Portland Saturday Market. It was full of merchants selling various products. This is a picture of the Burnside Bridge.

Later that night we stopped by Powell's Bookstore. It was a huge 4 story bookstore and Christy loved it.

2009 Portland Trip

On our way to Portland we had a 5 hour layover in Los Angeles. So we had breakfast with my friend Greg and his girlfriend at Breakfast Swingers in Santa Monica. Then we stopped over to see the Hollywood sign. I have lived in LA for years but I have never seen the sign up close.
