Andre Ethier & Russell Martin

Yesterday (July 29) I had the opportunity to meet Andre Ethier and Russell Martin at a free autograph session in Hollywood. The event was held at Earl Schieb after the Dodger game. Fortunately the Dodgers beat the Nationals 7 to 5.

Here is picture of the mini helmet that Andre Ethier signed (possible NL Rookie of the Year). I also got Russell Martin to autograph an Official Major League Baseball. I also wanted a picture with Russell Martin, but I could not hold up the line.

Eric Gagne "Game Over" Framed Jersey

I also framed my Eric Gagne jersey. Got this one at a signing at Galpin Ford in Panorama City. Heard about it the night before, so I line-up at 7:00 for a 12:00 session. Waited five hours, but I was the 250th person in line. Gagne was nice enough to sign for everyone that attended the event, which was over 400 people. One neat thing, he throws with his right hand, but signs with his left hand.

I should have ask Gagne to sign the front of the jersey. That way it would match the others. Oh well, it was my first jersey that I got autographed in person. Now I know better.

Trent Green and Me

I also got my 4x6 autographed by Trent Green through the mail. This picutre was taken on my trip to Kanas City to see the Chiefs play the Raiders in 2005. While in Kansas, I went to Trent's Charity Tailgate party at the Chiefs practice facility. They provided dinner and there was a auction for memorabilia. Trent was a great host and he was nice enough to take pictures with the fans and sign a few autographs.

Trent Green TTM

Finally got my 8x10 back from Trent Green of the Kansas City Chiefs. This was sent through the mail 2 months ago. He even personalized the autograph.
